This trip is perfectly suited to those who want to experience the culture and beautiful sights of Nepal, but on a smaller time frame and with less physicality. We begin with a day of sightseeing around world heritage sites in Kathmandu, before flying to Lukla and commencing the beginning of a regular EBC trek. After an acclimatisation day in Namche, we helicopter to view Chomolonga, Mount Everest, as well as the enchanting Gokyo Lakes and Khumbu Valley.

Day 1-3 Kathmandu – Phakdingma
After touching down at Kathmandu airport, you’ll be greeted by one of our team and taken to your accommodation. You’ll have a full day to explore the busy city of Kathmandu the next day, before an early morning helicopter flight to Lukla on day three. Our first day trekking is slow and steady from Lukla to soak in picturesque landscape and rich culture, before we stop for a nourishing meal and restful night's sleep in Phakdingma.
Day 4-6 Phakdingma – Namche
Our day starts with a moderate incline up the famous Namche hill, where you’ll admire views of Chomolungma (Mt Everest) for the first time. We spend two nights in Namche, serving a rest and acclimatisation day with a trek to Tenzing Norgay’s statue, with enough time to soak up all that this beautiful village has to offer – local food, shopping, and of course taking in the incomparable sights.
Our sixth day in the mountains will involve an early morning pick up by a helicopter. From here we will fly through the Khumbu Valley with views of the highest mountains in the world. Our helicopter will take us to Kala Pathar where you will be exposed to the best views of Mt Everest. We will then be taken on a slight detour over Gokyo lakes before flying back to Lukla for the night for your final stay in the Mountains.
Day 7 - 9 Lukla - Kathmandu
Your final morning in the mountains will involve a local breakfast before being picked up by a helicopter who will take us back to Kathmandu. You will have a full day to yourself in Kathmandu to explore more of the Nepali culture before you depart.

Day 6 - Helicopter tour to Everest base camp, Kala Pathar and Gokyo Lakes. Return to Lukla.
Day 7 - Fly to Kathmandu
Day 8 - Leisure day in Kathmandu

During your nights in Kathmandu you will be staying in 3.5 - 4 star accommodation. Our accommodation pre trek is located in Thamel. There is plenty to see in Thamel and is the perfect hub to purchase any extra items for your trek.
During your trek you will be staying in the best accommodation available on a shared room basis unless specified otherwise.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner along with filtered water is provided throughout the duration of your trek. Because we stay at the best accommodation during your trek the quality of food is above standard.
Everest treks does not purchase plastic bottled water. Pollution is still an issue in Nepal so we do our best to leave nothing behind. We encourage our trekkers to do the same.
Please note that lunch and dinner is not provided during your time in Kathmandu.

Please note that the total cost of your trek may change due to reasons beyond the control of Everest Treks. This includes increase in flight costs and accommodation ect. We will give you plenty of notice before your trip if there are any additional costs.

Please ensure you purchase travel insurance that includes high altitude rescue as an emergency evacuation can be extremely costly.
